Evidence-based online therapy for trauma, anxiety, and recovery

EMDR Therapy

Clinically proven therapy for trauma recovery

Eye-Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a powerful, evidence-based therapy designed to help the brain safely reprocess distressing memories and experiences. Unlike traditional talking therapy, EMDR works directly with how traumatic memories are stored in the brain, helping to reduce their emotional charge and the symptoms they cause.

EMDR is recognised by organisations such as the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the NHS as one of the most effective treatments for trauma and PTSD. It can also be highly effective for anxiety, phobias, grief, and other overwhelming life experiences.

During EMDR sessions, I guide you through a structured process using bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping) to help the brain reprocess traumatic material. Over time, this allows the memory to lose its intensity, freeing you from the emotional weight and automatic reactions that may have been holding you back.

With full EMDR training (Parts 1–3) and years of experience working with clients affected by trauma, including survivors of abuse, frontline workers, and those with complex life histories. I offer EMDR as a specialist service alongside integrative psychotherapy.
